Information Collection and Use
- Any information collected by the Bhadala Atlas website and the wallet system will only be used internally by Bhadala Atlas and the third-party providers such as transit agencies, on-line operators, or merchants within the Bhadala Atlas ecosystem.
- Bhadala Atlas will use your information to send you confirmation of your purchase(s) and any payments made to merchants when using your digital wallet to pay for goods and services within the Bhadala Atlas ecosystem.
- Bhadala Atlas shall not rent, sell or otherwise disclose your personal information to any third party other than the transit agencies, merchants or brands that participate within the Bhadala Atlas ecosystem.
- By utilizing the Bhadala Atlas website and/or subscribing to any services offered by Bhadala Atlas and/or the merchants, you expressly consent to Bhadala Atlas utilizing your personal information for the purpose of providing the services and for billing and advertising purposes (unless you have opted out) and to other third parties where necessary, or to comply with any law or regulation, to prevent fraud or abuse, misuse or unauthorized use of the Bhadala Atlas digital wallet and to protect Bhadala Atlas's rights and those of its customers. Bhadala Atlas may use your personal information to personalize your profile on Bhadala Atlas's internal system. This paragraph does not apply to your mobile phone number or your SMS consent, which are never used for advertising and never disclosed to any third party for that purpose — see "SMS and Text Messaging" below.
- Mobile phone numbers and SMS consent are carved out of every sharing arrangement described above. They are not rented, sold, or disclosed to transit agencies, merchants, brands, or any other participant in the Bhadala Atlas ecosystem for their own marketing.
- Bhadala Atlas may receive information about you from reliable third parties and add it to its database purely for payment or servicing third-party payment requests for product sales or financial services purposes. Bhadala Atlas shall ensure that such third parties operate a similar ethical policy in relation to your privacy.
- You may receive invitations to buy goods and services or other related products, but you may unsubscribe from these invitations at any time.
- Bhadala Atlas will be sending wallet subscribers a variety of SMS or WhatsApp or in-app messages which include transaction information, wallet balance information and sales receipts. Should the recipient block these messages then Bhadala Atlas shall not be liable to re-send these messages. The messages are not marketing material but may be notifications, authentications or information messages that relate to the payment in question.
SMS and Text Messaging
Mobile information is never shared or sold. No mobile information, phone number, or SMS consent obtained by Bhadala Atlas is sold, rented, or shared with any third party or affiliate for their own marketing or promotional purposes. This applies without exception, and it overrides anything else in this Privacy Policy. Phone numbers are disclosed only to the messaging provider that delivers the message on our behalf, and only for that delivery. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are never shared with anyone.
How you opt in
We only text you if you have asked us to. There are two ways that happens:
- On our website. At bhadala.us you can ask us to send you the Bhadala Atlas app download link. You choose your platform, enter your mobile number, and tick a box agreeing to receive that message. The box is never pre-ticked. This sends one text containing the download link, and nothing else — that number is not added to any list.
- In your account. If you register for Bhadala Atlas and provide a mobile number, you consent to receive service messages about your own account, as described below.
What we send
| App download link | A single message, only when you request it on our website. |
| Account verification | One-time passwords and authentication codes, as needed. |
| Transaction confirmations | Receipts and confirmations, per transaction. |
| Balance notifications | When requested, or when your balance is critically low. |
| Security alerts | Fraud prevention and account-protection notices, as needed. |
| Service updates | Occasional, typically one to two per month. |
We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.
Message Frequency: Message frequency varies based on your account activity and the services you use. A website download-link request results in exactly one message. For account holders, typical usage results in two to five messages per week, and may reach up to ten messages per day during periods of high account activity or security events.
Message and Data Rates: Standard message and data rates may apply as determined by your mobile carrier. Bhadala Atlas is not responsible for any charges incurred from your mobile carrier.
Opt-Out Instructions: You can opt out of receiving non-essential SMS messages at any time by:
- Replying "STOP" to any SMS message from Bhadala Atlas
- Contacting our support team at support@bhadala.us
- Updating your communication preferences in your account settings
Important Note: Opting out of SMS messages may prevent you from receiving critical security alerts, transaction confirmations, and authentication codes necessary for account access and security. Some messages related to fraud prevention, account security, and legal compliance cannot be opted out of as they are essential for the safe operation of your account.
Help: For help or support regarding SMS messages, reply "HELP" to any message or contact us at support@bhadala.us.
App Tracking Transparency
If you use the Bhadala Atlas app on an iPhone or iPad, iOS asks you once whether the app may track you across other companies' apps and websites. We do not track you unless you say yes.
What "tracking" means here
Tracking means linking what you do in Bhadala Atlas to data about you collected by other companies, or sharing your device's advertising identifier (the IDFA) with a data broker or advertising network. It does not mean the ordinary running of your account — your rides, passes, balances and receipts are processed either way, because they are how the service works.
What happens when you decline
If you decline, or if you have not yet been asked:
- Your device's advertising identifier is never collected, stored, or sent anywhere by us.
- Our servers strip any advertising identifier out of the analytics events they send, and mark those events as not usable for advertising or ad personalisation.
- Events whose only purpose is to measure advertising are not sent at all.
- Where we need to understand how a campaign performed, we use aggregated and privacy-preserving methods such as Apple's SKAdNetwork, which do not identify you.
Declining changes nothing about the service you receive. No feature is withheld, no price differs, and nothing about your wallet, passes, or benefits depends on your answer.
Your answer is recorded and honoured
We store your decision — the answer itself, when you made it, and the app and OS version you made it on — so that our systems can enforce it, and so we can show that we did. Where you make the choice before signing in, we hold it against an identifier your app generates, which we store only as a one-way hash and cannot use to identify you or your device.
You can change your answer at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking on your device. The new answer reaches us the next time you open the app and takes effect from then on. Superseded answers are kept for 13 months and then deleted; the answer currently in force is kept for as long as your account exists, because it is the permission itself.

1.1 By visiting our Site and/or registering as one of our subscribers, you consent to us collecting, storing, using and (if applicable) transferring your personal information in accordance with this privacy promise.
1.2 If we decide to change our privacy promise, we will post those changes to our website.

Should any provision in the terms and conditions become obsolete, the validity of the remaining provisions will not be affected.

The relationship between the parties is governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, United States of America. Any dispute or lawsuit arising out of or in connection with this Agreement will be exclusively dealt with under the laws of the State of Michigan and the applicable federal laws of the United States.
Fees and Charges
Your Bhadala Atlas wallet will be debited certain fees when you elect to cash-in, make payments, cash-out or transfer funds from your wallet into your own or a third-party bank account or other wallets. These fees may change from time to time as determined by the banking system. By agreeing with these terms and conditions you give consent to Bhadala Atlas to debit your wallet accordingly.
Additional Terms
- Your digital wallet cannot be assigned to any other person but you can send money from your digital wallet to a third party provided that that third party is a juristic person and their mobile number is registered with Bhadala Atlas.

Should you send this voucher to any third party or give the voucher code to any other party, neither Bhadala Atlas nor its third-party service providers shall be liable for any loss.
- You must keep your access credential and any PIN or voucher pins sent to your mobile phone secret and not disclose it to anyone.
- Digital wallet transactions will be authorized using your PIN or voucher codes and unless we receive notice from you not to, we will accept all authorized transactions, even if they are actually made without your authority.
